CLICsearch Help

A short guide to using CLICsearch to discover library materials and to manage your library account.

CLICsearch Essentials

CLICsearch has two main functions:

  • It’s a discovery tool that helps you search for books, articles, media, and other library resources

  • It’s the new library account system for managing your check-outs, renewals, and hold requests

CLICsearch replaces both the broad search functionality of Summon and the catalog and requesting functionality of CLICnet.

In its default search, CLICsearch is drawing its results from the following sources:

CLICsearch defaults to showing you articles and ebooks that Hamline has access to. The "Expand My Results" checkbox in the top left corner of your results page will broaden your search to include citations for e-resources beyond our collection.
