Students are employed in many areas throughout Hamline University's Bush Memorial Library. The library serves all Hamline students, faculty, and staff. It is also home to the Central Service Desk (which provides both Library and ITS services), and the building houses the campus Writing Center, the Center for Teaching and Learning, Academic Advising, Academic Success, classrooms, and much more!
Because it houses many services, there are many diverse student positions at the library. This guide will provide information on the sorts of job opportunities available within the library. Use the tabs at the top of the page to navigate the guide and learn more about different job opportunities.
We value motivated students who want to excel in a positive and professional work environment. We encourage all students to apply, but those with work study awards may be given preference.
