Hamline does not provide access to RefWorks for Alumni.
If you wish to keep the RefWorks citations you've collected in your Hamline RefWorks account after you graduate, you will need to move them to a non-Hamline reference/citation management tool, such as Mendeley.
The following example uses the free web version of Mendeley. The process described here works similarly if exporting to other freely available reference/citation management tools.
Step One: Create an account in your new non-Hamline reference/citation management tool.
Note - if you wish to preserve your RefWorks folder structure you had at Hamline, you must export one folder at a time from RefWorks.
1. Sign in to your current Hamline RefWorks account, with your Hamline credentials (https://refworks.proquest.com/)
2. Sign in to Mendeley Web (www.mendeley.com)
The following tools and websites are great resources for help in creating citations and bibliographic lists.
Exporting citations to RefWorks directions vary by database -- see our RefWorks guide .
Get free writing help at Hamline's Writing and Communication Center, located on the lower level of the library.
Capstone guides on formatting and completion requirements for the Hamline School of Education & Leadership are found under "Documents/Forms Library" on the HSEL pages.
