Reserves are the materials assigned or recommended by faculty to their students for class, and include books, articles, audiocassette, CD's, videotapes and DVD's.
Reserves are located at the Circulation Desk. Since they are high demand items, reserve items have the following limits:
- They usually have a loan period of only two hours and may not be taken out of the Library. However, some reserve materials may leave the Library overnight if checked out within two hours of closing and returned the next day within 1 hour of the library opening. If this option is available, it will be noted in the reserve notebook.
- No more than two reserve items may be checked out by an individual at the same time
- Some reserve items have a loan period of 24 hours, 72 hours, or 1 week and can be taken from the Library. If this option is available, it will be noted in the reserve notebook.
