To find Books. Use CLICsearch (search box above), the catalog of the Hamline University libraries.
How do I get books located at other CLIC school libraries? To get books from other CLIC schools, you can either go to that specific library and check it out with your valid Hamline ID. OR, you can request the item within CLICsearch. Request link is located within the item record. Make sure you are signed into CLICsearch using your Hamline user account information.
If you need a book that is not in the catalog, we suggest you use the book request form in ILLiad
(our Interlibrary Loan service).
Can I view books online? Bush Library has access to thousands of electronic book titles. These titles will be listed in CLICsearch.
If I am a distance student, how do do I obtain books? Bush Library DOES NOT mail books to students. It is always suggested that if you can, try and come to campus to use and/or checkout materials. If this is not a possibility, we suggest that you either use a public library close to you, or if affiliated with one, an academic library. In searching for materials, you can still use CLICsearch to look for materials, but we also suggest trying to use Worldcat
, which allows you to see which libraries close to you might have a book you are looking for.
