ARCHIVED-FYSem Audeh: What's the Fuss All About?: Find Books: WCL

Find Books

To see if Bush Library has a book you're looking for and/or to locate books on a topic, use our catalog, WorldCat Local (WCL)

WCL searches for books almost anywhere in the world (it actually searches for articles and other materials, as well, but we'll talk more about that).  The results are sorted, first, by location, then by relevancy:

  1. Books at Hamline (in relevancy order)
  2. Books in our consortium, CLIC
  3. Books in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota
  4. Books anywhere in the world

CLIC is a consortium of 8 academic libraries in the Twin Cities (including Hamline; see box at right for other members).  When you search for materials, you'll see their books as well as ours.  We have an excellent delivery system for getting books back and forth. Use the orange Request button for this service.

Contact the Reference Librarian on duty if you'd like help.
