What version of Java Web Start/J2SE do I have?

You can visit the Elluminate Support page http://www.elluminate.com/support which will check that you have the correct software installed and display the version you are running.

What are the general prerequisites for joining an Elluminate Live! session?

To ensure the best experience with Elluminate Live!, we recommend that you pre-configure your computer prior to your session.

Ensure that:

Your computer satisfies the minimum system requirements.
You are using the computer on which you will attend your Elluminate Live! session.
Your computer connected to the Internet and has a stable connection.
You have a microphone, speakers or headset to take full advantage of the audio capabilities during the session. This may be optional for some so please check with the organization or instructor hosting the session.
You have the proper permissions to save files to your computer. If you are unsure, please contact your system administrator.
You have reviewed the steps outlined on the Elluminate Support page.

What are the requirements for using the Elluminate Live! client?

Pentium III 1 GHz processor
Sun Java 1.5.0_17 or Sun Java 1.6.0_12 and greater is what is recommended
